THE SOCIETY

The BAGS – Building Alliance Golf Society – our, c.160, members are keen golfers drawn from all sectors of the construction and property industry, hold senior positions, within their organisations.

We play our majors at the Berkshire, New Zealand, Walton Heath, Worplesdon and Swinley Forest, as well as a number of matches. Our members are welcome to apply to attend all events and matches, with several events also open to members’ guests.

The events schedule is planned to reflect the character of the society – with most events held at members golf clubs, with competitions played using stableford scoring to maintain a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Forging friendships and opportunities on the fairways, since 1933

VENUES

Our members come from around the country, some achieving the longest drive before hitting a ball! The courses we play surround London, primarily to the south and west – most of our major events take place at, prestigious, Surrey and Berkshire courses. When we travel further afield the location may change but the standard doesn’t.

The BAGS enjoy the challenge of some of England’s finest courses.
